Alexander Wang is never afraid to step out of his comfort zone and this time he does so by creating marble surfboards. Together with Haydenshapes, he selected photographs of marble slabs and used them as a pattern for the boards. Hayden Cox (founder of Haydenshapes) then crafted the surfboards by hand. It’s a great way to present his latest accessory line and he again stays true to the black and white theme like he did before. The high end surfboards are installed in Wang’s New York flagship in SoHo. You can shop a few of the boards now for $1,250. Find out more about the project here.
