Poetic rapper Jay-Way drops ‘No Life No WiFi’ EP

Here’s a kid you need to listen to and he fooled us all. Jay-Way’s sound breathes new life into old skool rap. Something we’ve missed in a while. In ‘HAppen Dappen’ he sounds a bit like Childish Gambino’s little brother. In ‘Hideout’ he sounds a bit like Anderson Paak. Either way his sound is fresh. Exodus will be a headbanger in clubs for sure, an awesome production. But ‘Airplane Mode’ is a bliss. It was only until 1:102 we heard the line ’Be sure to bless me with your studiefinanciering’ (be sure to bless me with your student grant). A lovely way to uncover his Dutch roots and he definitely got us fooled. We’re  going to keep an eye on Jay-Way – be sure to listen to his EP and let us know what you think.
