Peter Brookes is a multi award winning political cartoonists who works for 22 years at The Times now. Peter’s creating every day provocative and brain cracking illustrations. They’re often hilarious and other times controversial. This is partly because of his ability to shine a unique light on topical items and partly because Times gave him total freedom. The Art of Satire is a film that captures Peter’s creation process brilliantly: ”I quite often get ideas by just day dreaming out of the window. By 2 or 3 o’clock I generally sorted out the idea. I gotta have silence. If I got noise going on I can’t draw straight.” Watch the documentary below.
